Description

Folios 64-65: Correspondence regarding the landing of a spare topsail and course at the dockyard in Hong Kong.

Encloses letter (folio 64): J [John] R T Fullerton, Captain, HMS Sapphire at Hong Kong dated 16 July 1883 to Commodore W H Cuming, HMS Victor Emanuel, requesting to land a spare topsail and course at the Dockyard in Hong Kong.

Encloses letter (folio 65): W H Cuming, Commodore, HMS Victor Emanuel at Hong Kong dated 2 August 1883 to Vice Admiral George O Willes CB, Commander-in-Chief, submitting the letter and request to the Vice Admiral for consideration.
