Encloses letter (folios 133-134): Admiralty (signed R D Awdry), dated 10 April 1890 to Vice Admiral Sir Nowell Salmon VC KCB, Commander-in-Chief, China, informing that no timber wharf at the sides of the Camber will be provided.
Encloses letter (folios 135-137): A H Anson, Lieutenant, HMS Victor Emanuel at Hong Kong dated 17 June 1890 to Captain C J Balfour RN, Senior Naval Officer, Hong Kong, suggesting alterations in regards to the grounding of torpedo boats.
Encloses memorandum (folio 138): Nowell Salmon, Vice Admiral, dated 8 July 1890 to the Secretary of the Admiralty, submitting the details regarding the erecting of four jetties to prevent boats grounding on berm of broken slopes of camber (cost £380) for favourable consideration.
Folios 139-141: Letter from Admiralty (signed Evan Macgregor), dated 25 June 1889 to Vice Admiral Sir Nowell Salmon VC KCB, China, regarding the future distribution of information on the amount and location of reserve-guns and other ordinance stores available for ships at Foreign depots to captains of HM ships.
