Folios 100-112: Letter from G A Giffard, Commander, HMS Wanderer at Singapore dated 20 November 1890 to Vice Admiral Sir Nowell Salmon VC KCB, Commander-in-Chief, China, regarding the state of the British graves at Tinghai and recommendations regarding their preservation. A plan of the graveyard with the location of the gravestones has been enclosed [previously removed and placed in MFQ 1243/1] as have two photographs. Also encloses a translated letter from Hwang Shu-fan (folios 110-111).
