Description

Folios 13-14: Circular Letter from Admiralty (signed Robert Hall), dated 14 December 1881 to Vice Admiral George O Willes CB, China, informing that in the future when an inspection on board a HM ship at the station is made, the Royal Marine Detachment of such a ship should be separately inspected by the Marine Officer and a special report made. A template of an inspection report is enclosed (folio 14).
