Description

Captain Cecil G Johnson, amount of Bill: £484 11s 04d.

Date of reimbursement 25 April 1842.

Journeys include: Dover, Calais, Tournay, Aix la Chapelle, Bingen, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Vienna, then on to Alexinitza, via Offen, Essegg [Osijek], Semlin [Zemun] and Belgrade Back from Alexinitza to London.

Notes: Hired steam packet from Dover to Calais Paid Tatar to convey despatches from Alexinitza to Constantinople Paid for 11 days quarantine in Semlin [Zemun].
