Folios 279-280: George Reynolds, Deal. Observing that Nathaniel Edgar was impressed by Lieutenant Gregory at the Dover Rendezvous. He encloses Gregory's report of Edgar.
Folios 281-282: enclosure with folios 279-280. Letter dated 7 August from Davis Lamb at the Tax Office, Somerset House. Appealing for the discharge of Nathaniel Edgar from the Guard ship in the Downs, who was impressed, despite having Admiralty Protection as a fisherman of the Port of Rye on the fishing smack Olive Branch. Offers to procure a testimony from the Revenue Officers of Rye.
Folios 283-284: enclosure with folios 279-280. Letter dated 10 August from Thomas Gregory, confirming his impressment of Nathaniel Edgar on orders from Admiralty Protections.
