Description

Folios 180-181: George Reynolds, Deal. Reporting that John Dyer entered at the Dover Rendezvous on 26th December last and was sent on board HMS Princess of Orange as an able Seaman. Lieutenant Gregory's letter respecting him is enclosed along with the enclosures sent to Reynolds by the addressee William Marsden.

Folios 182-183: enclosure with folios 180-181. Letter dated 14 February 1807 from Thomas Ferguson of George Yard, Lombard Street, transmitting the indenture of Apprenticeship and protection of John Dyer, and the affadavit of his Master, R Day, together with a letter stating that Dyer has been impressed at Dover and detained on board HMS Prince of Orange. His immediate discharge is expected.

Folios 184-185: enclosure with folios 180-181. Letter from Thomas Gregory of Dover, dated 7 February 1807, recording that he sent John Dyer on board HMS Princess of Orange, being igonorant of his being an apprentice.

Folio 186: enclosure with folios 180-181. Letter from Robert Day of the Brig Industry, Southampton, dated 9 February1807. He wishes to clear his Apprentice John Dyer from impress. He encloses Dyer's Indenture with his Protection.

Folio 188: enclosure with folios 180-181: The Indenture dated 12 February 1806 of John Dyer signed by Robert Day, Master of the Brig Industry on behalf of his Apprentice Robert Day.
