Folios 172-173: [George]? Reynolds, Deal. Encloses a letter from William Nairn, a Ticket man, now"crippled" and using crutches, to Lieutenant Anderson, stating the case for the need for some renumeration for family maintenance.
Folios 174-175: enclosure with folios 172-173. Letter dated 10 January 1807 from William Nairn in Deal, who was on board a homeward bound East India ship to assist in conducting her to the River [Thames?]. He broke his legs when the ship was in Long Reach. He is incapable of earning anything now, and appeals for his case to be made known.
