Folios 242-243: Samuel Roberts, HMS Meteor, Spithead. Reporting his arrival at Spithead. As ordered by RA Malcolm, he sailed from Mobile Bay with the Hyperion transport no 478 under convoy 3 April 1812. The Hypericone having on board detachments of different corps, Colonel Bell, Major Cooper and Lieutenant Carro and a detachment of 43rd for passage to England. He was ordered proceed to New Providence. He had orders to take on provisions and sail to Spithead with the Hyperion. He had to go to Havana when he ran out of wind and supplies. He met Malcolm who had found Hyperion and given her supplies. He was then ordered to sail to New Providence on his way home. He had on board 13900 dollars for the treasurer and a small [?] for the merchants in London from Vera Cruz.
Folio 244: enclosure with folios 242-243. List dated 13 June 1815 of 50 people on board HMS Meteor by order from VA Malcolm for passage to England.
