Folio 250: John Tremayne Rodd, Portsmouth. He announces that he is preparing HMS Warrior for sea. He observes that if the Admiralty is minded to supercede Mr Richardson, a lieutenant on his vessel appointed by Lord Porsington, he would like to have Mr Charles Paynter as his replacement. Mr Paynter has been ill and has suffered considerably as a result of his imprisonment but is now much better and he would like to see him well situated.
