Folios 244-245: Hercules Robinson, HMS Prometheus. He reports the appointment of Mr Thomas Addington to act as Boatswain. He gives an account of Mr Addington's background. He served on HMS Junon under Captain Upton who has given him a very complimentary reference in terms of sobriety and attention to duty. Captain Robinson concurs with that assessment. Accordingly he hopes the Admiralty will confirm his appointment.
