Folios 213-214: Joshua Rowley, HMS Blossom, Sheerness. He reports that Joseph Campbell, a seaman left the ship at Almeria, in Spain on 25 December 1812 and had not returned by the time they sailed. He marked him Run in the ship's books. He has learned that on 28 December 1812 he gave him self up at the British Vice Consul there. He sent him to Gibraltar, where he rejoined HMS Blossom. Another seaman C Sullivan was left behind at Malaga after going ashore on 16 July 1813. He was also marked as Run on the ship's books. He then gave himself up a short time afterwards to the British Consul who sent him to Gibraltar where he too rejoined HMS Blossom. He suggests that the designation Run be removed from their names.
