Folios 190-191: T. R. Ricketts, HMS Venguer He reports that he has received on board Major General Lambert and his suite. He asks the Admiralty to authorised the payment of his bill for £180, which he has submitted through his agent. He also asks the Admiralty to meet the bill he submitted earlier when he commanded HMS Mercury when he transported Major General Kempt and his staff to America from the Gironde River. As a result of these delays in payment he has been put to great inconvenience from the tradespeople whom thus far he has declined to pay.
