Folios 35-36: R Riddell, HMS Britomart, Liverpool. He writes that he left Portmouth on 17 May 1814 but owing to adverse winds and bad weather, he has only just arrived at Liverpool. He has received his orders to proceed immediately to Cork. He will sail with the first tide in the morning. He encloses his ship's log together with a weekly account and sick report (none of these are enclosed.)
