Folios 283-284: Wilson Rathbone, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reports on the case of Edward White, now on board HMS Eliza, and returns the enclosures. White was impressed by Lieutenant Thomas Flinn at North Shields on 6 December, having been discovered hiding on shore. He is a Carpenter who had just left the ship mentioned in the affidavit [not present] and was on his way to Blyth.
Folios 285-286: enclosed with folios 283-284. Letter from Jonas Cockerill, North Shields, to the Admiralty, 10 December 1810. Asks permission to raise substitutes for Edward White, impressed on the Tyne, so that Regulating Captain Wilson Rathbone can be ordered to discharge him.
