Folios 271-272: David Ramsay, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. Acknowledges the letter of 28 November directing him not to receive substitutes for seaman until they apply for their discharge and reports that he has paid £40 to the Treasurer of the Navy. Also acknowledges the letter of 3 December directing him to receive two [Able] Seamen or four Landsmen as substitutes for John Fyffe of HMS Childers.
