Folios 223-224: Peter Rye, HM Armed Ship Providence, the Humber. Reports that HMS Princess of Wales arrived last night with the Baltic convoy, and will now go to Yarmouth to refit. Lieutenant John Southcott believes other vessels from the convoy bore up for ports to the North, but the Experiment will go with the Princess of Wales. HMS Woodlark is still in the Humber flying the signal for a convoy to the South and West. He received the letter for Commander George Edward Watts of the Woodlark on 30 November and forwarded it to him at Hull.
