Folios 61-62: Wilson Rathbone, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reports on the case of George Farmer, now aboard the tender HMS Lyra. Farmer was impressed by Lieutenant Nathaniel France at Newcastle on 14 October as he had no exemption. Farmer is 24 and has been 10 years at sea.
Folios 63-64: enclosure with folios 61-62. Letter from William Dalgleish, North Shields, to the Admiralty, 15 October 1810. Asks if Robert Higgerson, Able Seaman aboard HMS Namur at Sheerness, and George Farmer, recently impressed at Newcastle and now aboard the tender Elira [HMS Eliza] at Shields, can be discharged if they can produce substitutes.
