Folios 39-40: Richard Raggett, HMS Defiance, off West Cappel [Kapelle]. Acknowledges the letter asking about James Bunck, a deserter from the South Hants Militia, and reports that no man of that name is aboard his ship. The ship's books show only men transferred from HMS Royal William and HMS Northumberland. Suggests that someone from the Militia be sent aboard to see if he can recognise the man.
