Fouyuen - The Governor of the Province of Quangtong [Quangdong?]. Hoppo - The Superintendant of the Port and Collector of the Customs. Pouchingsee - The Treasurer of the Province. Anchassee - The Judge of the Province. Quang-cheou-foo - The Governor of the City of Canton. Namhoyen - The Chief Magistrate of a part of the City of Canton, called Namhoy [Namhai?]. Folios 76-78: Proceedings at the Quay in Canton dated 24 to 28 February 1807, and a proposed letter to James Tweedale, Robert Patterson and Thomas Buchanan, signed by J W R [J W Roberts], T C P [Thomas Pattle] and W B [William Bamston] (Members of the Select Committee of the Supra Cargoes). Canton, the Neptune and the Marquis of Ely, as well as the Mandarin, the Mowqua, the Hong Merchants, the President Mr Roberts and Thomas Buchanan, are all mentioned.
Folios 78-82: Dated 1 March to 3 March 1807 regarding the examination of certain people, directions by the authorities following the incident and news of the Mowqua's detention. Also includes a letter to J W Roberts and the Select Committee of the Supra Cargoes from James Tweedale, Robert Patterson and Thomas Buchanan including the names of 7 Seamen who appear to have been most active in the riots with the Chinese ie Philip Murray, Edward Sheen, Christopher Farrol, George Adams, William Dixon, Thomas Gamble and Julius Caeser as well as a detailed defence of the seamen and the Mowqua. Leav-a-ting (who is now dead), the Namhoy, Hong Merchants, the Neptune, the Puankhiqua (Chief of the Security Merchants) and the Puigua (Another of the Security Merchants) as well as the Palace of the Viceroy are all mentioned.
Folios 82-85: Dated 4 March 1807 discussing how this matter was to be investigated and resolved and includes the Edict of the Hoppo to all the Hong Merchants including the effect of the loading of English Ships at Whampoa. Thomas Buchanan's Factory, the Consoo house and Sir George [Thomas] Staunton as well as the President, the Viceroy and the Hoppo are mentioned.
Folios 85-87: Dated 5 March 1807 giving the Committe's view including Robert Rolles's assistance. Includes copies of letters, dated 4 March 1807, to the Hoppo of Canton and, dated 5th March 1807, to James Tweedale, [Cuthbert?] Richardson and Robert Pattison (Commanders of the Perseverance, the Albion and the Royal Charlotte respectively) requesting them to make further investigations, both from the Committee of the Supra Cargoes of the English Nation. Also incudes full details of the evidence given by a child who was witness to the incident and related to the deceased Chinese gentleman. Thomas Buchanan plus the President [JW Roberts] as well as the Neptune and Robert Sir George [Thomas] Staunton are mentioned.
Folios 87-92: Dated 6 March 1807 to 8 March 1807 regarding a meeting concerning the release of people captured by Pirates and other matters with Robert Rolles, the Merchants and the Viceroy as well as further communications with the Mowqua, the Committee, the Puankhiqua [Chief of the Security Merchants] and Sir George Staunton. Includes correspondence from the Committee of the Supra Cargoes of the English Nation for the Viceroy and an Edict of the Hoppo of Canton to the Hong Merchants giving 2 days to produce the offender, both dated 7 March 1807. Leav-a-ting, the Namhoyen, the Fouyuen, [Thomas] Buchanen, the East India Company at Whampoa, the Bogue Fort, the Consoo and Hog Lane as well as Mr Frazer are mentioned.
Folios 92-95: Dated 9 March 1807 to 10 March 1807 detailing the findings of a Court of Enquiry held onboard the Neptune and views of the situation to date. Also mentions a further meeting with the Mandarins including the embargo on the Ships of the Company, the effect of the paid for cargoes, capture by Pirates and the Mowqua. Also includes Robert Rolles address and further representation to have an audience with the Viceroy. Includes letter to the Viceroy (of Quangtong and Quangsee) dated 8 March 1807 at Canton from Robert Rolles, Captain HBMS Lion regarding a meeting. The Hoppo, Mr Roberts (President), Mr Frazer and [Lieutenant Thomas Graham?] [Lieutenant Matthew Graham?] are also mentioned.

Includes mention of a reward of 20,000 dollars for sufficient proof to convict the perpetrator.
