States that First Lieutenant Anthony Ponsonby being sick for four Months and now in sick quarters, he requests the appointment of Mr John Ralph Moss now HMS Hannibal's 2nd Lieutenant to be First Lieutenant. He recommends Mr William Servant[?] now Master's Mate of HMS Hannibal who passed his examination for Lieutenant after being 25 years at sea.
