Folios 224-225: John Manley, HMS Apollo, Spithead. Reports that he anchored here this morning in HMS Apollo and he is happy to say that the ship did not receive so much damage as was at first thought and his letter dated 7 April 1795 from Deal stated the ship now not making more than two inches water an hour. He hopes to put their Order of the 30 May 1795 into execution and it is only necessary to stow the hold. States the Pilot is now aboard.
