Folios 218-219: John Manley, HMS Apollo, Sheerness. Reports that in consequence of getting upon a Shoal on the Wells[?] Bank on the night of 26 December 1794 several of the Crew have lost their Beds, and others are spoiled and rendered useless. he requests they be allowed to return into store the spoiled ones in lieu and other to be supplied. He also states that the Surgeon has signified by letter that in consequence of the accident the remains of necessaries for the Sick and Hurt which were to serve until 22 January 1795 are quit spoiled and rendered useless. He request an order for three months supply.
