Folios 180-181: Micajah Malbon, HMS Trial, Nore. Having been appointed to Command HMS Firm (Gun Vessel) John Hall and Henry Noyes his present Midshipmen and several of the Ships Company who have been his faithful shipmates in HMS Trial. He requests an order for the two Midshipmen and as many of HMS Trial's Company to be discharged into HMS Firm.
Folios 182-183: enclosure with folios 180-181. Petition from the Crew of HMS Trial requesting to be allowed to follow Captain Micajah Malbon to his new ship [HMS Fiorm]. [Signed by twenty six men].
