Folios 86-87: Simon Mackenzie, HMS Sheerness, Spithead. Covering letter for the enclosed copy of his letter of the 3 May 1795 requesting their further directions for his proceedings as the Rattler, has not been at Guernsey. He not having received any answer, he is fearful the letter might not have arrived. He states that His Majesty's Ship and Sloop under his command withe the undermentioned Merchant Ships under his Convoy are all ready to proceed to sea. Ships Names and Masters:- Rattler - Robert Bibby, Prince - John Adams, Nymph - Bartholomew Robson & Commerce - Christopher Luce.
