Folios 181-182: Commander John Richards, HMS Forester, the Nore. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Henry Lewis of HMS Havock giving his reasons for not having joined the Forester.
Folios 183-184: enclosed with folios 181-182. Letter from Lieutenant Henry Lewis, HMS Havock, Elsineur [Elsinore] Roads, to Commander John Richards, HMS Forester, 10 October 1806. As no Sub Lieutenant has been appointed to replace him and as the Commodore in HMS Railleur is absent, he has no opportunity of returning to England. Asks Commander Richards to explain his absence to the Admiralty.
