Folios 573-574: Henry Lynne, 13 Great George Street. On July 4 1808 he was a Flag Lieutenant aboard HMS Leopard when he was appointed by Admiral Bertie at the Cape of Good Hope to be Captain of HMS Charwell. He went in HMS Laurel to join her but was captured and has been a prisoner of Isle de France until 13 March 1810 when he returned to Admiral Bertie as his Flag Lieutenant. He hopes to be paid for his time as Captain of HMS Charwell from August 2 1808 to 23 March 1810.
Folios 575-576: enclosure with folios 573-574. Letter dated 20 October 1812 by [?]. This is a peculiar case as he stopped being a Flag Lieutenant when he left HMS Leopard to join HMS Charwell so it depends on the Admiralty recognising the merits of his case.
