Folios 220-221: Robert Stuart Lambert, HMS Duncan, the Hamoaze. Acknowledges the letter concerning the request by Mr Padbury of Oxford for his son Francis Padbury to be given leave. Reports the father has written several letters to him on the same subject, but he did not feel he had the authority to grant his request. Padbury is on board at the moment and has not been absent on leave.
