Folios 196-197: Frederick Langford, HMS Cydnus, the Downs. Reports his arrival, having landed the Earl of Aberdeen, Sir Thomas Tyrewhitt and the Garter King of Arms at Gottenburgh [Gothenburg] on 14 August to journey overland to Ystadt. When he sailed from Gottenburgh bringing despatches, the homeward-bound convoy of 150 vessels were just weighing anchor under escort from HMS Beaver, HMS Harrier [?], HMS Bermuda, HMS Griffon and HMS Forward.
Folios 198-199: enclosed with folios 196-197. Admiralty slip with directions for dealing with Captain Langford's letter.
