Folios 178-179: Philip Lamb, Camberwell. Reports that although the Admiralty notified him in April that they had granted his request for his nephew, William Sanderson Lamb, to be discharged from the Royal Marines and entered for the Navy and had sent the necessary order to Lieutenant Joshua Kneeshaw in HMS Piercer, he has now been informed that the Lieutenant never received that order. Asks for a duplicate to be sent.
