Folios 173-174: Robert Stuart Lambert, HMS Duncan, the Hamoaze. Explains that Midshipmen James G Mearns and James Stewart were left behind when the ship left Cawsand Bay in March and subsequently marked as Run on the ship's books. As they have since rejoined and conducted themselves well, asks for the"R" against their names to be removed. 10 July 1813. Summarises their service since August 1812 on the Duncan, HMS Salvador del Mundo, HMS Warspite and HMS Queen Charlotte.
