Folios 149-150: Robert Lawrie, HMS Ajax, the Hamoaze. Reports that John McDonald has admitted he deserted from HMS Agamemnon in 1806 and now asks if the"R" against his name can be removed. McDonald has served as Gunner's Mate aboard the Ajax and Captain Lawrie reports his conduct has been good, and supports his request.
Folio 151: enclosed with folios 149-150. Admiralty Paper Office slip dated 14 October 1813 recording the fact the Captain Lawrie's letter has been sent to First Sea Lord Sir Joseph Yorke.
