Folios 149-150: John Lloyd, HMS Podargus, off Dieppe. When he sailed from the Downes, Lieutenant John Myers Greer was left behind. That was six weeks ago and he has heard nothing.
Folios 151-152: enclosure with folios 149-150. Letter dated 10 July 1811 by Edward Grimes, Coton House, near Rugby, Warwickshire. He has been six weeks without work and has served 11 years in the Navy so he asks for a job.
