Folios 131-132: Edward Lyon, Regulating Officer, Londonderry. Patrick Gill, boy, volunteered on 25 May 1811. He is healthy, of age and not an apprentice and there has been no undue influence.
Folios 133-134: enclosure with folios 131-132. Petition dated 4 June 1811 by Charles Gill, Buncrana, Donegal. Patrick Gill is only 13 years old and ran away from home because of correction. In Derry he was persuaded and threatened with impressment if he did not volunteer so he should be released.
Folios 135-136: enclosure with folios 131-132. Andrew Cochran, Reverend of Bunerann. Charles Gill swore before him saying that Patrick Gill was only 13 on 1 January 1811.
