Folios 127-128: Edward Lyon, Regulating Officer, Londonderry. He has been told that he cannot have a clerk. He carried on employing Samuel Lee who had been clerk under his predecessor Captain Heath. The clerk now has many additional duties such as the payment of five signal stations and keeping accounts for the Navy Board so he hopes he will be allowed to keep him.
