Lithographed and printed at the Topographical Department, War Office, 1860. To illustrate despatch by Colonel C E Gold, 65th Foot, Commanding the Forces in New Zealand, to Governor T Gore Browne, of 19 March 1860, concerning 'the destruction of a pa that William King's party had... on the Government block of land, for hostile purposes'; enclosure number 1 in Gore Browne's despatch number 26 of 20 March 1860, to the Duke of Newcastle, Secretary of State for the Colonies.
