Map 5. New Zealand. Sketch map of the Waireka River. Map shows terrain (coast, river, hills), vegetation, church, Omata Inn, houses, roads, [Omata] Stockade, Maori pa. Scale: 4 inches to 2 miles. Lithographed and printed at the Topographical Department, War Office 1860. Sheet embossed with the Royal arms and with the seal of the Secretary of State, Topographical Department, War Office. Formerly in the War Office map library, in portfolio under reference: 'Oceania. (New Zealand.) Battles, Sieges and Warlike Operations 2'.
