Map 52. Ireland: County Armagh: Newry. Portion of Ordnance Survey of Ireland six-inch map sheet. Scale: 1 inch to 880 feet. Surveyed in 1834-1835 by Lieutenant [G F W] Bordes, Royal Engineers. Engraved in 1835 under the direction of Lieutenant [Thomas Aiskew] Larcom, Royal Engineers, at the Ordnance Survey Office, Phoenix Park. Drawn by C Champneys, decoration by John Reid, lettering by H Grandison. Superintendent: Lieutenant Colonel [Thomas Frederick] Colby, Royal Engineers, FRSL and E, MRIA. MS colouring shows area of Newry infantry barracks.
Bound in atlas 'Ireland. Plans of the Barracks etc in the Belfast Division of the Dublin or Northern District', 1863.
