Map 40. Ireland: County Donegal: Macamish. Portion of Ordnance Survey map sheet County Donegal 28 with manuscript colouring showing area of Macamish battery. Scale: 1 inch to 880 feet. Engraved at the Ordnance Survey Office, Phoenix Park by D Coll; decoration by G Rule and Edward Fitzgerald; lettering by Michael Sandys and P Fraser junior. Superintendent Lieutenant Colonel [Thomas Frederick] Colby, Royal Engineers, FRSL and E, MRIA. Revisions engraved in 1853 under the direction of Captain [William] Yolland, Royal Engineers, on an electrotype of the original copperplate. Superintendent Lieutenant Colonel [Lewis Alexander] Hall, Royal Engineers. Manuscript date on map of 17 November 1863.
