Map 37. Ireland: County Donegal: Lough Swilly. Portion of Ordnance Survey of Ireland six-inch map sheet, with manuscript colouring in areas of Dunree Fort and Knockalla battery. Scale: 1 inch to 880 feet. Surveyed in 1834-1835 by Captain [Marcus Antonius] Waters and Lieutenant [William] Lancey. Engraved in 1836 under the direction of Lieutenant [Thomas Aiskew] Larcom, at the Ordnance Survey Office, Phoenix Park. Drawn by John Fraser; decoration by John Macaulay; lettering by P Fraser and W Y Smith. Superintendent Lieutenant Colonel [Thomas Frederick] Colby, FRSL and E, MRIA. Revised in 1847-1850 by Captain [George Archibald] Leach, and revisions and contours engraved in 1853 under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel [Henry] Tucker, on an electrotype of the original copperplate. Superintendent Colonel [Lewis Alexander] Hall. All officers of Royal Engineers.
