Map 6. Ireland: County Donegal: Ballyshannon. Portion of Ordnance Survey map sheet 107 County Donegal, joined to portion of adjoining sheet, showing Ballyshannon and vicinity. Area of Ballyshannon barracks and Ordnance Ground at Beleek coloured. Scale: 1 inch to 880 feet. Surveyed in 1835-1836 by Captain [Marcus Antonius] Waters and Lieutenant [Edward] Vicars, both Royal Engineers. Drawn at the Ordnance Survey Office, Phoenix Park, by D Coll, decoration by J Macaulay and W Dalgleish, lettering by J Henderson. Superintended by Lieutenant Colonel [Thomas Frederick] Colby, Royal Engineers, FRSL and E, MRIA. Revised and contoured in 1847-1850 by Captain [George Archibald] Leach, KCB, Royal Engineers; revisions and contours engraved in 1851 under the direction of Captain [John] Cameron CB, Royal Engineers, on an electrotype of the original copperplate. Superintended by Lieutenant Colonel [Lewis Alexander] Hall, Royal Engineers.
