Folios 376-377: Thomas Byam Martin, Plymouth. Replying to Admiralty letter of 22 February, he says that the French pilot Corn[elius?] Belge, only joined HMS Fisgard a day or two before Martin left the ship so he does not feel competent to speak of his merit or character. However he has sent the letter on to Captain Michael Seymour, his successor, who should be able to help.
