Folios 266-267: John Willoughby Marshall, HMS Lynx, Long Reach. Replying to Admiralty query of 21 April he says that Miles Amber [Ambre] had been impressed on 9 April by the Lynx's second lieutenant, as he was found to have been more than 3 years at sea. He is now aboard HMS Immortalite.
Folios 268-269: enclosure with folios 266-267. Petition from Henry Beasant, Master of the brig Priscilla, late John Withers Master & Owner, asking for Amber's discharge on the grounds that he is underage and legally apprenticed to the brig.
