Folios 239-240: John Willoughby Marshall, HMS Lynx, Long Reach, River Thames. Sending a report of the survey taken on the ship's mizzen mast by order of Captain Edward Owen, of the Immortalite, and discussed by the carpenters that morning. Folio 240 is the report, signed by William Ball [?] carpenter of the Immortalite, and John Rowling of the Amethyst, saying that the mizzen is 'very much decayed' and 'unfit for service'.
