Folios 200-201: Charles John Moore Mansfield, HMS Minotaur, Cawsand Bay. Advising that one of the ship's lieutenants, William Holman, has now been in hospital for over 7 weeks and looks likely to remain there for some time, he asks their Lordships to appoint a new officer senior to Thomas Sykes, currently 3rd lieutenant, and that the officer be asked to join the ship at Plymouth as soon as possible.
