Folios 124-125: Robert Mansel, HMS Beschermer, off Harwich. Noting that some few weeks earlier he had requested 48 hours leave but his request having been sent on to Lord Keith, the response had arrived too late for his purposes. He recently made a second request direct to Lord Keith but due to his lordship's frequent movement thinks his letter was never received. Therefore now asks again if he may be given permission by their Lordships for 48 hours to attend to his most urgent and important private business.
