Folios 95-96: Robert Mansel, HMS Beschermer, off Harwich. Has received Admiralty letter advising him that his request for 48 hours' leave to transact a private matter should properly be made to Lord Keith - however, his business was of such an urgent nature he could not afford any such delay. In fact he now no longer requires the leave as unfortunately the opportunity to act is passed.
