Folios 81-82: Robert Mansel, HMS Beschermer, Golderman's Gat. Advising that Edward Harnett, whose description is enclosed, had left the ship on 10 July, in Mansel's opinion intending to desert.
Folio 83: enclosure with folios 81-82. Harnett is described as an AB. Born at Folkstone, Kent, living in Rye. 5ft 8 ins, ruddy complexion, black eyes, sandy hair follow face and well made.
