Folios 69-70: Robert Mansel, HMS Beschermer, Great Nore. Sending a petition from a number of his seamen that they should be considered volunteers for the service as they were never asked the question. Mansel asks that their Lordships will consider the request and notes they all appear in the list of impressed men.
