Folios 57-58: Robert Mansel, London. Acknowledging receipt of their Lordships' letter dated 22 February, directing him to give his opinion of Joseph Ludich, a French pilot who served on his then command HMS Adventure from January to May 1800. Says Ludich conducted hmself much to his satisfaction and in Mansel's view is deserving of the indulgence he asks.
